Apple:

“November 12, 2013—Apple announced iPad mini with Retina display is available starting today. The new iPad mini brings all the pixels from the 9.7-inch iPad to its 7.9-inch screen, delivering razor sharp text and detail in an amazingly thin and light design. It features the powerful and power-efficient Apple-designed A7 chip with 64-bit desktop-class architecture, ultrafast wireless with faster built-in Wi-Fi and expanded LTE cellular connectivity, iOS 7 featuring hundreds of great new features and access to all 475,000 apps designed specifically for iPad.”

You can order iPad mini with Retina display through the online Apple Store for delivery or in-store pickup.

Introduced on October 22, there was no advanced notice for the new Retina iPad mini availability. That likely means the supplies are extremely limited.

IMPORTANT: at this time, you can’t just walk into a store to buy a retina iPad mini. You need to reserve and pay online first before you can pick-up at Apple Store.

Price for the 2013 iPad mini with Retina Display are as follows:

  • Wi-Fi: $399 16GB, $499 32GB, $599 64GB, $699 128GB
  • Wi-Fi + Cellular: $529 16GB, $629 32GB, $729 64GB, $829 128GB
