Apple Added 2012 Mac Pro
Apple Store secretly added new 2012 Mac Pro desktops starting from $2499.
Apple introduced the MacBook Pro with retina display today, but did not mention about its new Mac Pro. Instead, the online Apple Store quietly these 2012 Mac Pro.
Update: Marco noted that the processors are not the new Xeon E5, but rather the 2 year old CPU:
“No Xeon E5 CPUs, no USB 3, no Thunderbolt. They’re even shipping the same two-year-old graphics cards. Same motherboard, slightly different CPU options from 2010. That’s it. [...]
I bet this is the last Mac Pro. If you wanted to kill a product line, an “update” like today’s would be a good way to clear out parts and keep selling to a few desperate buyers for a bit longer without any real investment.”
