  • Picture-in-Picture effects with full control over position, size, and rotation
  • Ability to create multi-layer 3D animations, transitions, and titles with included Montage templates
  • Pan and zoom on your photos to create high-impact slideshows (Ken Burns effect)
  • Arrange videos using storyboard, and make precision edits using timeline
  • Multiple audio tracks
  • Sound effects library
  • Access media from external devices via an iPad Camera Connection Kit (Avid probably meant import photos and video footage from iPhone)

Avid is a competitor to Apple and Adobe in the video editing software field. Adobe recently released Adobe Photoshop touch, but no Premiere touch yet. Apple iMovie universal app for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch is $9.99.
