Wondering how much will the iPhone 4 cost me? Here are the prices for the new 2010 iPhone 4 on AT&T with and without new contract.

New & Upgrade Eligible Users, iPhone 4 AT&T

New users to AT&T and “upgrade eligible” AT&T customers can get the iPhone 4 16GB for $199, iPhone 4 32GB for $299, and iPhone 3GS for $99 with a new 2 year contract.

Early Upgrade, iPhone 4 AT&T

Those in the middle of AT&T contract (most people with iPhone 3Gs) can still upgrade to iPhone 4. The early upgrade price is iPhone 4 16GB for $399, iPhone 4 32GB for $499, and iPhone 3GS for $299 with a new 2 year contract. There is an $18 upgrade fee.

No Contract, iPhone 4 AT&T

If you buy a “No Commitment / No Contract” iPhone, plugging into iTunes will activate the iPhone, but it’s locked to AT&T until tools to jailbreak / unlock iPhone iOS 4.0 becomes available. You can also use the iPhone 4 on AT&T using Pay-As-You-Go plan before unlock becomes available.

The no contract iPhone 4 16GB for $599, iPhone 4 32GB for $699, and iPhone 3GS for $499.

Check AT&T iPhone 4 Upgrade Date / Status

Note that AT&T has moved up the iPhone upgrade eligibility up to 6 months early. Pretty much, if your AT&T iPhone contract is up anytime in 2010, then you might be able upgrade at the subsidized price on launch day for iPhone 4.

So check your upgrade status with AT&T by dialing *639# on your iPhone. AT&T will send you a text message with your iPhone upgrade status.

When is iPhone 4 Pre-Order / Available on AT&T

The 2010 Apple iPhone 4 will be available for pre-order on June 15, with delivery starting June 24.
