Today, providing a preview of iPad functionality, Apple launched 11 iPad guided tours videos, including a video of Apple iPad’s ebook app iBooks.

The Guided Tours videos were added under the iPad section on Apple.com showing apps optimized for the larger display.

Most videos are about 2 to 3 minutes, giving a concise preview of features of the upcoming iPad tablet, scheduled to be released April 3. And of course, the videos are HTML5, no flash.

Full list of 11 Apple iPad guided tour videos current consists of some of the free apps such as Safari Web Browser, Mail, Photos, Videos, YouTube, iPod, iTunes, iBooks. Also demos iWorks suite on iPad: Keynote, Pages, Numbers.

The iBook Apps shows a list of popular books with Top Paid Books displayed side by side with Top Free Books.

Most of the demoed Apple apps are free.

The iWork office productivity suite, consisting of Keynote, Pages, Numbers are $10 each. The apps can read and edit its corresponding Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Word, Excel documents. Ten dollars is a small price to pay, considering the Apple software is used by many for business. For example, Nintendo CEO is an Apple Keynote user.
