Remember the iPod U2 Edition from awhile ago? One of the ads features performance of Bono from U2 playing on a video iPod. Well you can’t get the special edition U2 iPod anymore, but this can still get Bono in your pocket!

Flickr user neps noticed that a certain icon on the Apple iPhone and iPod touch looks familiar. Looks like someone on Apple iPhone interface design team really likes U2! Pretty cool stuff! You still have to buy the music though.

You can find Bono inspired icon under iPod App and iTunes Remote App on your iPhone and iPod touch.
